A new pool going in was the ideal time to re-imagine how this client wanted to use their outdoor living space. In particular, the question of how to connect the existing patio area to the pool area was raised.
Enter the Shaderunner.
With flexibility to be installed as a standalone structure (free from attachment to the house) Shaderunner suits many residential and commercial sites. When combined with adjustable placement of steel structural posts, Shadreunner really does add maximum visual impact with minimal ground level footprint.
The Shaderunner was able to be positioned close to the existing roof-line, creating a seamless transition from the house into the entertaining area and pool area. This extension of the roof-line provides shade and protection during the warmer summer months, yet the roof can be fully retracted to let the sun and warmth in during the cooler months.
Our client has done a fantastic job landscaping the entire area to create a beautiful oasis that they will enjoy for many years to come.
